Bowling Green Buccaneers

Due to some students taking the ACT, game times will be pushed back one hour in the Varsity District Tournament. The first game will begin at 3:00 instead of 2:00.

The Bucs defeated Laurel 90-54 last night to advance in the tournament. They will face the #2 seed, Lamar, on Friday at 7:45. The Lady Bucs will also play on Friday evening at 6:15 against ASC. BGS will have a JV football parent meeting at 6:00 in cafeteria Monday, February 10th. This meeting is for current 6th-8th grade boys who will be playing JV next year. At this meeting, our AD Pat King will introduce our new head JV coach, Shadd Pittman, and he and Coach Riley will discuss our future

The JV Bucs fell to Wayne Academy in the District Championship game tonight. The Bucs led most of the game, but were not able to defeat the #1 seed in the tournament. It was a close game, and ended with a score of 30-35. We are proud of the hard work the both JV teams

There will only be 3 basketball games Friday. The JV boys will play at 5 pm followed by senior recognition. The Mini Buccanettes will perform during halftime of the second game. Varsity Cheer will perform between the two varsity games, and the Buccanettes will perform during halftime of the final game. Come out and cheer

The JV District Tournament will be this Saturday at Wayne Academy. The girls will play at 11 am. The boys will play at 12 pm. Please see the brackets below. JV BOYS JV GIRLS
